More Calls for GoJ to Divest Loss-making Public Sector Entities

There are more calls for the government to move quickly in divesting loss-making public sector entities.

The call is coming from Deputy Chairmanof the Public Sector Transformation and Modernisation programme, Professor Alvin Wint.

Meanwhile, the programme’s Director General , Veniece Pottinger-Scott, is calling for an acceleration in the pace of public sector reform.

    Lets start with the Jamaica Information Service. The JIS as a government entity is irrelevant. It would be interest to find out how many people rely on the JIS for news.
