The Ministry of Education is reporting 51 more cases of Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease, HFMD, in schools since last week.
The total number of official cases is now at 489.
One-hundred-and-thirty early childhood institutions are affected.
St. Catherine is still the worst affected parish, with 199 cases and 8 school closures.
Since the outbreak began, 193 affected students have returned to school, and 16 institutions have re-opened.
Deputy Chief Education Officer, Dorrett Campbell, says the outbreak has already peaked.
