Western Union customers are being advised that there could be further closures of outlets as operations continue to be reviewed.
This has been disclosed by Senior Vice President, Marketing and Operations at Grace Kennedy Money Services, Noel Greenland.
Weeks ago Grace Kennedy Money Services announced the temporary closure of seven outlets mainly in western Jamaica because of what it described as an unusually high number of fraudulent transactions.
Mr. Greenland says there could be ‘additional action’.
He says the closures could come as early as this week.
While acknowledging the inconvenience to some customers, he’s encouraging them to visit other locations across the island to do business.
Noel Greenland, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Operations at Grace Kennedy Money Services. Mr. Greenland says the review of various Western Union locations are being done to protect legitimate customers.
