Director of the Road Safety Unit, Kanute Hare says motorcyclists in Jamaica continue to drive up road fatalities.
The unit says as of today 193 persons perished in 177 fatal crashes since the start of the year.
Of that number 61 were motorcyclists, 44 pedestrians and 30 were drivers of private motor vehicles.
Mr Hare’s appealing to motorcyclists to desist from their harmful practices.
