The Jamaican people now have dangerously low levels of confidence and trust in the fundamental institutions including the Justice system, the Parliament and the police force!

That’s the word from Executive Director of the National Integrity Action, NIA, Professor Trevor Munroe.

He also questioned the level of transparency within the country’s leadership concerning the dismissal and subsequent investigations into matters surrounding former Minister and Senator, Ruel Reid.

In the meantime, he lauded the Chief Justice on his ruling on the National Identification System, NIDS.

Professor Trevor Munroe, Executive Director was speaking at a three-day training seminar for Crown Counsels on the weekend.
