Murder-Suicide Victim Was A Few Weeks Pregnant


Mrs. Clarke-Gowans’ eldest daughter, says her mother was a few weeks pregnant when she was killed.

In a Facebook post today, Shantae McDonald, said her step-father, Patrick Gowans, knew that her mother was a “couple weeks pregnant” when he shot her in the stomach. Miss McDonald says Gowans then fired two shots in her Mother’s back and one in her head. She says Gowans then turned the gun on himself.

Miss McDonald says her mother had suffered years of physical and mental abuse. She disclosed that her mom was in the process of filing for divorce. According to Miss McDonald, her mother had left the matrimonial home at the beginning of this year.

McDonald says she made the social media post today in a bid to clear the air and prevent the defaming of her mother’s name.
