There’s a new Head of the European Union Delegation to Jamaica, Belize, Bahamas, Turks and Caicos and the Cayman Islands.
She’s Malgorzata Wasilewska.
In a statement, the EU delegation in Jamaica, says Ms. Wasilewska, who assumed duties this week, has extensive experience working on issues relating to democracy, organizational governance, strategic planning, human rights, conflict prevention, peace building and security with several international development organizations including the EU, Amnesty International and Saferworld.
She previously served as Head of Division for Conflict Prevention, Peace Building and Mediation; and also Elections and Democracy Support in the Foreign Relations arm of the EU.
The new Head of Delegation will be based in Jamaica.
