No Chik-V Coverup – Medical Advocates

175

President of the Jamaica Medical Doctors Association, Dr. Alfred Dawes, says he has no reason to believe that the Health Ministry is covering up the number of Chik-V related deaths.

The Ministry has reported only two deaths, despite many anecdotal reports about persons who passed away after contracting the disease.

Meanwhile President of the Medical Association of Jamaica, Dr. Shane Alexis, says the Ministry is in a difficult position, as only an autopsy can confirm the cause of death.
