Tax Administration Jamaica, TAJ, is cautioning business persons to remember that several payments become due on or before June 15 this year.
Corporate Estimated Income Tax , Self Employed Statutory Payments and Minimum Business Tax are due by that date.
Persons are being encouraged to use the online option to facilitate the filing and payment of all major tax types.
Business persons are being reminded that tax payments may also be made at any of the 29 tax offices.
Persons paying by cheque may do so using the electronic drop boxes located in main tax offices.
Taxpayers are advised to honor their tax obligations by making these payments on or before June 15, as the TAJ is ramping up its compliance activities in relation to these payments.
Failure to comply may result in interest and penalty charges, and other compliance action.
