NWC Customers In McAlphine Westmoreland To Experience Disruption In Water Supply

Scores of National Water Commission, NWC, customers in McAlphine, Westmoreland will continue to experience disruption in their regular water supply.

This, after the commission in a statement yesterday announced the need for an extension to their initial November 16, 2019 deadline.

The NWC is now craving patience and understanding from their customers for an additional 6 weeks.

The new target date is set for December 13, 2019.

The Commission says this was necessary due to unforeseen circumstances in repairing mechanical problems at the McAlphine Relift in the parish.

Efforts to get a comment from Community Relations Manager for the NWC’s Western division, Teisha-Ann Pinnock, were futile.

Several calls placed to her cell phone yesterday went unanswered.
