Political Ombudsman, Donna Parchment-Brown, says her office will be conducting an investigation into the shooting of former Spanish Town Mayor and JLP Councillor, Dr. Raymoth Notice.

Mrs Parchment-Brown says her office has taken an interest, in light of reports that the incident may have been politically motivated.

Dr. Notice was shot by gunmen in December last year, as he washed his car at his home in Bog Walk, St. Catherine.

Two men have been arrested in connection with the incident and charged with robbery with aggravation, wounding with intent and illegal possession of a firearm.

Dr. Notice has told the media that the attack was no robbery. Mrs. Parchment-Brown says she will be meeting with Dr. Notice.
