The Office of the Prime Minister is rejecting any suggestion that Prime Minister Andrew Holness has not been accessible to the public and the media.
This after the The Press Association of Jamaica wrote to Prime Minister Holness noting his failure to hold press briefings since assuming office.
The PAJ noted its concern about media access to Ministers of Government, and particularly to Mr. Holness as Prime Minister.
Speaking on Cliff Hughes On Line this morning Press Secretary Naomi Francis disclosed that OPM received a letter from the PAJ on Friday.
She said the Office responded, acknowledging receipt of the letter and promising to respond.
Ms. Francis says the Prime Minister has been strategic in how he has been communicating with the public.
