Opposition Presses Case for CRH Public Inquiry


The Peoples’ National Party, PNP, is insisting that a public enquiry be launched into the crisis gripping the Cornwall Regional Hospital in St. James.

Opposition Leader Dr. Peter Phillips made the call during a press conference yesterday afternoon.

Dr. Phillips says numerous questions remain unanswered regarding the state of the hospital.

Dr. Phillips accused the government of attempting to shield Health Minister, Dr. Christopher Tufton, at last Tuesdays sitting.
