Co-Chairman of the Public Sector Transformation Oversight Committee, P-STOC, Danny Roberts, says the government’s plans to subsume the functions of the Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica, PCJ, into the Energy Ministry took the committee by surprise.

He was speaking on Nationwide this Morning.

This follows the pronouncements of other stakeholders who said there was a need for consultation.

Mr. Roberts is describing the Ministry’s lack of consultation with the Unit as as misstep.

Meanwhile, there’s a list of entities that were already selected for transformation.

This list is known to P-STOC members and its implementation unit.
Mr. Roberts was asked if the PCJ was on that list.
