The person of interest in the fatal shooting of a Trelawny woman, LeVaughn Williams, has turned himself in to the police.
That’s according to the acting head of the Trelawny police, Deputy Superintendent Winston Milton.
The police believe Williams can help with their investigations into the killing of a 50-year-old business woman on Friday.
Jacqueline Cargill Gardner was murdered at her car wash on Foreshore Road in Falmouth, Trelawny around 4:15 Friday afternoon.
Police say three men pounced upon her, spraying her with bullets. One of her attackers was shot dead by a licensed firearm holder.
DSP Milton, says the police also found a second gunman suffering from gunshot wounds. He’s under police guard while being treated at hospital.
