Workers at the state owned oil refinery Petrojam, returned to work this morning, after taking strike action on Tuesday.
The General Manager of Petrojam, Howard Mollison, says an agreement was reached yesterday, involving the management of Petrojam, the Petroleum Workers Association and officials of the Labour Ministry.
The workers took to the streets yesterday, in protest at what they describe as deplorable and dangerous working conditions along with other unresolved issues.
Mr. Mollison says more talks are needed.
