Phillips To Launch “One PNP” Campaign Next Week


People’s National Party President, Dr Peter Phillips will be launching his “One PNP-Powerful Together” campaign on June 27.

This after Central Manchester MP Peter Bunting launched his Rise United campaign following his announcement to challenge Dr Phillips for the leadership of the party.

Dr Phillips’ Campaign Manager, Natalie Neita is quoted as saying “the dynamic team leading the campaign includes an excellent mix of youth and experience”.

She says plans are well advanced  to ensure the party and Jamaica not only benefit from the skill, vision and integrity of a leader who all can trust, but also showcase the strategic renewal at all levels of the Party to build its “Future Generation of Power.”

Dr Phillips’ campaign team includes Lisa Hanna, Damion Crawford, Donna Scott-Mottley, Mikael Phillips, Norman Scott, Phillip Paulwell, KD Knight and Wykeham McNeil.

Ms Neita says the team has several sub committees, comprising of comrades who have placed their support firmly behind Dr Phillips.

She says his integrity and steady management of the last major economic crisis has borne fruit reaffirming he’s the leader the people need.

The North Central St Catherine MP says ‘One PNP – Powerful Together’ campaign will unite the organisation around a set of core principles, anchored in trust, performance and renewal.

She says the campaign seeks to engender love and unity and is not about tearing down each other. 

The team is assured it will also be running a clean campaign.
