PNP Calls for Constabulary Records Office Solution

The Opposition People’s National Party, PNP, is calling on the relevant Ministries to speedily address disruptions in the operations of the Constabulary’s Record Office in downtown, Kingston.

The critical arm of the police force was relocated and rendered partially operational following staff complaints of poor air quality at its previous location.

Air quality tests were also conducted in the building before the team was relocated to the Central Police Station temporarily.

Only some services were accessible.

New applicants for police records have been asked to wait until further notice for full resumption of the services offered by the Constabulary’s Records Office.

The PNP’s General Secretary, Julian Robinson made the appeal yesterday.
