PNP General Secretary, Julian Robinson, says the party has 20- candidates who’ll be facing the electorate for the first time when the next general election is called.
Mr. Robinson was addressing a media conference on the UWI Mona Campus on the weekend.
Robinson spoke shortly after PNP President, Dr. Peter Phillips, addressed the party’s caretakers and candidates during a private meeting.
In the meantime, Mr. Robinson is intensifying the PNP’s criticism of the government’s efforts to fight crime.
He says the PNP is not arguing that the States of Public Emergency in six parishes are not effective in the specific area they have been declared.
