PNP Internal Election Battle Influenced Anti-Corruption Vigil, Says Political Commentator

Political Commentator, Dr Paul Ashley, says the PNP’s anti- corruption vigil yesterday was influenced by the party’s internal leadership challenge.

Central Manchester MP,  Peter Bunting, is challenging Dr Peter Phillips for the presidency of the PNP.

Mr. Bunting says the party cannot win a General Elections under Dr. Phillips’ leadership. Dr Ashley says the PNP was getting lazy.

He says the anti-corruption vigil would have been more efficient if it was done in several locations simultaneously.

He’s also calling on both major political parties to unite and tackle corruption.
