PNP, JLP Condemn Notice Shooting

And in a statement today, PNP General Secretary, Paul Burke, said he’s confident the security forces will do their utmost to protect Dr. Notice and establish the facts surrounding the vicious attack on him.

Mr. Burke extended his and the PNP’s heartfelt compassion to the family, friends and colleagues of Dr. Notice.

He says no objective justifies any attempt to take the life or property of a Jamaican, or for that matter any peaceful and law abiding person.

This afternoon MP for North Central St. Catherine, the PNP’s Natalie Neita- Headley expressed relief that persons have been detained in connection with the shooting of her former political rival.

She says Dr. Notice had become a close ally in recent times.

South Central Catherine MP and former Mayor of Spanish Town, Dr. Andrew Wheatley, also expressed relief that Dr. Notice survived the gun attack.
