PNP General Secretary, Paul Burke, says the party will issue a statement on Friday on whether Opposition Leader, Portia Simpson-Miller, will declare her financial assets.
On Sunday, former Contractor General Greg Christie called on Mrs. Simpson Miller and all Members of Parliament to make public details regarding their assets.
This following a move by Prime Minister Andrew Holness on Friday to disclose his financial details.
Mr. Burke says on Friday, the party will also address concerns surrounding the assets of the Opposition Spokesman on Finance, Dr. Peter Phillips.
And public commentator and civil society advocate, Carol Narcisse, says the People’s National Party pressured Andrew Holness to declare his assets, so they must do the same.
Mrs. Narcisse says voters should think less of politicians who wait until the law makes it mandatory to declare their assets.
