PNP To Release Proposals from National Crime Stakeholders’ Summit, This Week

Opposition Leader and PNP President, Dr. Peter Phillips has disclosed the party will be revealing this week, the proposals coming out of its national crime stakeholders’ summit.

He made the announcement while speaking at a PNP meeting in East Rural St. Andrew yesterday.

The PNP hosted a stakeholders’ meeting on crime in mid-July.

Dr. Phillips says the meeting was important as there was need for a national consensus on crime.

Meanwhile, the Opposition Leader is expressing disappointment in the unequal curfew times for small business operators under the state of emergency in St. James.
