Police Believe Missing Girl from Viral Voice Note Still Alive

Police are intensifying their search for a woman who’s believed to have been kidnapped from her Waterhouse home in lower St. Andrew more than a week ago.

Audio of the 23-year-old woman pleading for her life surfaced on social media last week.

In the audio, a male voice can be heard threatening to hurt the woman if she does not cooperate.

Head of the St. Andrew South Police, Superintendent Arthur Brown, says two persons including the woman’s boyfriend were taken into custody in relation to the incident.
