Police Investigates Murder of 12-Year-Old Boy


A Police investigation is underway into the murder of a 12-year-old boy on Payne Avenue in Kingston 11.

The incident occurred on Saturday night.

Reports are, a man and two women were also shot and injured during the incident.

According to the police, 12-year-old Duyon DaCosta was among a group of people standing along the road in the community.

A gunman on foot opened gunfire at the group.

The Police say all four were carried to hospital where DaCosta was pronounced dead.

The police are appealing to people who may have information that can help them to identify, arrest and charge the shooter, to contact them.
