Police Recovers Body of Missing 8-year-old


The Police have found the body of an 8-year-old girl who has been missing since last week.

She’s Shante Skyers, a student of the Red Hills Primary School in St Andrew.

Shante went missing from the Sterling Castle Heights community last Thursday.

Yesterday, scores of residents, including the missing child’s parents, protested and blocked a main road in the community.

The residents used boulders and other debris to block several sections of the road, which resulted in a build up of traffic.

She says the child’s body had wounds to the head.
