Portmore Utd Maintains Lead atop RSPL Table


Portmore United maintain their lead atop the Red Stripe Premier League table after playing to a 1-1 draw with Harbour View at the Prison Oval field, yesterday.

Chevaney Willis gave Portmore the lead in the 20th minute, but Peter Lee-Vassell scored 8-minutes later to ensure the Stars of the East came away with a share of the points.

Portmore are now on 31-points, 4-points clear of second place Waterhouse who registered a 2-1 win over Dunbeholden.

In the other results, Cavalier and Reno drew nil-all.

Mount Pleasant beat UWI 2-nil.

And Tivoli Gardens held Montego Bay United to a nil-all draw.
