The Prime Minister noted that as a Sustainable Development Goal, the gender gap in education is often overlooked.

The Prime Minister was speaking yesterday at a Sustainable Development Goal Lecture at the University of the West Indies, Mona campus.

He says if the gap isn’t addressed the country will have a labour crisis.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Holness reaffirmed Jamaica’s commitments to the international Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs.

However, he says the country’s Achilles heel is a failure to implement.
