The Private Sector Organization of Jamaica (PSOJ) is calling for appropriate sanctions against those found by the Auditor General to be in breach of Petrojam and the Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica, PCJ’s standards.

President of the PSOJ, Howard Mitchell, was reacting to the findings of the comprehensive audit conducted by the Auditor General at the state owned oil refinery.

Mr Mitchell says he’s distressed at the revelations.

He says it’s clear former Minister of Energy, Dr Andrew Wheatley, failed to perform proper monitoring of the agencies under his portfolio.
