In a statement this afternoon, the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica, PSOJ, said it congratulates Andrew Holness and the JLP on being elected by the people to form the next government.
The PSOJ says it also wishes to congratulate Jamaicans and the security forces for their role in a relatively incident free election.
According to the PSOJ, this underlines the country’s maturity in electoral matters.
It says it’s also heartened by the level of discussion around the political issues.
The PSOJ says it stands ready to work with the new government on the issues that positively impact economic and social development.
The CEO of the PSOJ, Dennis Chung, says the incoming JLP administration must endeavor to enhance the successes of the PNP government.
