The Private Sector Organization of Jamaica (PSOJ) says it supports the latest State of Public Emergency declared in sections of the Corporate Area.
PSOJ President, Howard Mitchell, says the PSOJ supports the move despite the inconvenience to some of his members.
Mr. Mitchell was speaking this afternoon with Nationwide News.
He says after the enhanced security measure comes to an end, the government must do the necessary investment in the troubled areas to ensure sustained development.
Meanwhile, Mr. Mitchell welcomed the near 21-per cent reduction in murders across the country.
However, he says investments in social capital must be forthcoming for this to be sustained.
