Eight cars were seized yesterday and almost two hundred traffic tickets issued following an operation by the Constabulary’s Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch, P-STEB.
The operation was conducted in conjunction with the Island Traffic Authority of the Transport Ministry.
Head of P-STEB, Senior Superintendent of Police, SSP, Calvin Allen says the operation focused on Cross Roads and it’s environs in the Corporate Area.
SSP Allen spoke with our news centre yesterday.
SSP Allen says these types of enforcement operations will also be carried out in rural parishes.
