Red Stripe Promises ‘Competitive Exit Packages’ in Redundancy Programme

Red Stripe is assuring that some 35 employees who’ll be made redundant soon, will be taken care of.

Managing Director of Red Stripe, Ricardo Nuncio, says the move to make the employees redundant is due to the company modernising its processes by using technology to increase efficiency.

He says this will make the company more competitive.

Mr. Nuncio says the employees have been told months in advance that they’ll be let go.

He says the company’s offer to provide the employees with what he calls ‘competitive exit packages’ and other forms of support have softened the blow of the redundancy.
