Education Minister, Ruel Reid, says the country needs to look at tertiary education as a possible growth industry.
The Minister says this should be done on the way to targeting one-hundred percent tertiary enrollment for Jamaicans.
He was speaking at the charter signing and launch of the new private Caribbean School of Medical Sciences Jamaica, CSMSJ.
It was held at the Pegasus Hotel in New Kingston on Friday.
Minister Reid says in pursuit of education as an industry the government has many ambitious projects, particularly in creation of the new south coast highway.
