Reifer Shouldn’t Be Disqualified As Candidate For WI Top Job – Grave

CEO of Cricket West Indies, Johnny Grave, says Floyd Reifer’s recent record as interim head coach of the West Indies should not disqualify him as a candidate for the top job on a permanent basis.

Reifer, who was appointed in April on an interim basis, failed to get the regional team pass the group stage at the ICC World Cup.

Reifer is one of three people short-listed for the post.

The other two are, Desmond Haynes, and Phil Simmons.

Grave says Reifer’s entire resume should be studied before casting judgement.
