‘Resigning Was the Principled Thing to Do’ – Anthony

Former Prime Minister of St. Lucia, Dr. Kenny Anthony, says he resigned as leader of the St. Lucia Labour Party, SLP, after their recent election defeat because it was the honorable thing to do.

The SLP won just six seats to the United Workers Party, UWP’s 11 in the June 6 election.

Dr. Anthony was speaking with HTS St. Lucia.

Dr. Anthony says he had to take responsibility for the loss by stepping down.
