Russell Clocks WL 13.20 at U20 Championships

De’Jour Russell, ran a World Junior Leading 13.20 Seconds to win Semi-final 3 and advance to tomorrow’s final in the 110-metres Hurdles at the World Under-20 Championships in Poland, today.

Junelle BromField and Tiffany James will contest the girls 400-metres final. Bromfield clocked 51.18 seconds to finish second in Semi-final 2, while James posted 51.77 to win Semi-final-3.

Bromfield says she’s on course for something great in the final.

Calabar High School Standout Christopher Taylor posted 46.73 seconds to advance to the semi-finals of the boys 400-metres.

Saen Bailey also advanced after finishing second in heat 4 with a time of 46.83 seconds. Shannon Kalawan and Nicole Foster will contest the girls 400-metres hurdles semi-finals. Foster advanced after finishing third in heat 4, while Kalawan finished second in heat 5.
