Nationwide News understands that National Security Minister, Robert Montague has called Police Commissioner, Dr. Carl Williams and INDECOM boss, Terrence Williams to a meeting.
Our sources say the meeting, which was held today, was aimed at resolving issues between the two entities.
Minister Montague, both Commissioners and the Permanent Secretary in the Security Ministry Diane McIntosh, were seen leaving the Terra Nova Hotel in St. Andrew this morning where the meeting was held.
In late October , Deputy Police Commissioner in charge of crime, Glenmore Hinds accused the INDECOM Commissioner of impeding agreements between the oversight body and the Constabulary Force.
DCP Hinds made the accusation during a meeting of the parliament’s Public Administration and Appropriation’s Committee, PAAC.
