Team leader for Jamaica’s track and field contingent, Ludlow Watts, is dismissing a report that the athletes had to endure an uncomfortable night last Saturday due to gunshots.

The report stated that shots rang out for hours in one of the Brazilian slums near the team’s hotel.

Watts says the report was grossly over stated.

He says the gun fire only lasted for a few minutes.
