A statement yesterday from the operators of Sangster International Airport, MBJ Airports Limited, details flights which have been cancelled.
It says American Airlines has cancelled all flights to the airport until further notice.
Caribbean Airlines has cancelled its flights to and from Fort Lauderdale in the United States for Friday and Saturday.
Jet Blue has cancelled its flights to and from Fort Lauderdale and Orlando between Friday and Monday.
Spirit Airlines has cancelled all its flights to Montego Bay until Sunday.
South West Airlines has cancelled its flights to and from Fort Lauderdale and Orlando until Sunday.
MBJ Airports Limited says it continues to monitor the projected path of Hurricane Irma and its effect on the operations of its airline partners.
People scheduled to fly to and from Sangster International Airport over the next week are being advised to contact their carriers for re-booking and further flight information.
