Sick-out Hampering Policing

The sick out by the Rank and File of the Constabulary Force for a 3rd day running is adversely affecting policing operation across the country.

In Montego Bay, SSP Steve Mcgreggor, who’s in charge of the St James Division, says operation in the parish has been greatly affected.

In area 4, which includes St. Andrew Central, St. Andrew South, Kingston Western, Kingston Central and Kingston Eastern, there has been a slight improvement.

That’s according to ACP George Quallo.

And….in St. Mary, Deputy Superintendent, Owen Robertson, says they are still down by 30-percent.

However, he says that the various Police Youth Clubs in the parish have been helping out with administrative duties at some stations.
