Detectives in St. James were kept busy yesterday after four people were murdered in separate incidents.
Among those killed is a woman who was 8-months pregnant.
The bloodletting began on Wednesday with the killing of 28-year-old Garth Collymore of Hendon Norwood
Collymore, who is also known as Travis, was shot and killed by unknown assailants at around 12:30pm in Montego Hills
Collymore was found by the Police with multiple gunshot wounds and taken to hospital.
He died while being treated.
Head of the St. James Police, Senior Superintendent Steve McGregor, says no motive has been established for his killing.
Just two hours later a woman was gunned down in Salt Spring.
She has been identified as Shanna-Kay Pitters.
The Police say around 2:30pm, residents discovered Pitters lying in a pool of blood with gunshot wounds.
SSP McGregor says Pitters, who was 8-months pregnant, is the victim of a domestic dispute.
At around 8:30pm last evening, two men were shot and killed by unknown assailants on Marl Road.
They’ve been identified as 25-year-old Kezani Franklyn otherwise called Alkaline of Church Hill St. Catherine and 23-year-old Dwayne Serrero of Marl Road in Porto Bello.
Reports are that both men were at Serrero’s house when they were pounced upon by gunmen who shot them multiple times.
