Stoning Incidents costing JUTC $850k per Windscreen

It is costing the state-owned bus company, Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) $850,000 each time it’s forced to repair windscreens broken in stoning incidents.

The JUTC’s Franchise and Revenue Protection Manager, Radcliffe Lewis, says thirty-five buses have been damaged by stoning.

Lewis is appealing to the public not to damage the buses as it puts a strain on public resources.
