STOP Vandalizing Buses! – JUTC

The state-owned bus company, Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) is again urging members of the public to desist from vandalizing its buses.

This following 10 stone-throwing incidents last week. All 10 incidents happened in Portmore, St. Catherine.

The recent incidents follow an unprecedented 126 stone-throwing incidents last year.

Corporate Communications Manager at the JUTC, Cecil Thoms, says the company has recorded a reduction in stone-throwing incidents, so far this year with only 84.

He says most of those incidents happened in Pathfinder in Greater Portmore.

Mr. Thoms says the incidents are costing the company millions of dollars.
