Street Crowned Champion At Jamaica Rifle Association’s Beginners Archery Tournament


Breakout performer, Kristof Street won three gold and one silver to be crowned champion at the Jamaica Rifle Association’s Beginners Archery Tournament, on Sunday.

The all debutante competition was shot over 6 stages with over 20 first-time contestants in contention for the title. 

Street, who shot a perfect round on the final stage of the competition, won three stages and placed second in another to score 415 points overall and distance himself from the field. 

Marjaan Medley, who won one of the six stages and placed second in another, amassed 360 points to take second, with Kirk Henderson taking the bronze medal.

Street says consistency was key to his victory.
