Sunshine Girls Thrash Scotland in Netball World Cup Match


The Sunshine Girls thrashed Scotland 67-36 in their Vitality Netball World Cup match, in Liverpool, England, today.

The Sunshine Girls Were behind 14-13 at the end of the first quarter.
However, the Girls rallied to end the first half 32-21.

The Jamaicans dominated the Scottish Thistles in the third quarter, out scoring them by 13-points, to end the quarter 50-26, before completing the victory.

For Jamaica, goal shooter Jhaniele Fowler hit 45 goals from 48 attempts, while Romelda Aiken was 13 from 16.

Jamaica’s next match will be against Uganda on Thursday.
