Suspect held in Glenmuire Teacher’s Murder

A suspect has been taken into custody in connection with the murder of a 57-year old teacher at the Glenmuir High School in Clarendon, Audley Coleman, yesterday.

Head of the Clarendon Police, Senior Superintendent Fitz Bailey, says the suspect was taken in sometime after 7-yesterday evening.

Mr. Coleman taught Geography at Glenmuir for many years. He was shot and killed inside his home in Toby Heights in the parish.

SSP Bailey says the motive behind his murder is puzzling.
