The Police say the body of a woman found who mysteriously disappeared in Jamaica after visiting from the United States has been found and identified as 26 year old Tanesha Ford.
Miss Ford is a resident of New York and also a citizen of Jamaican. She was based in St. Elizabeth before she left the island a few years ago.
Miss Ford’s body was found in Salt Pond Gardens, Portmore, St. Catherine on Saturday.
The New York Post is reporting that Ford, who was a medical assistant who secretly took a flight to Jamaica on Saturday afternoon.
It’s understood that Ford landed at the Sangster International in Montego Bay on Saturday.
She reportedly ended up in Portmore St. Catherine hours after she landed in Montego Bay. Her body was found with bullet wounds.
According to the New York Post, Miss Ford’s family reported her missing on Tuesday.
The family members were reportedly unaware that Miss Ford was in Jamaica.
She had reportedly visited the island last year for her Grandmother’s funeral.
Miss Ford has left behind a 4-year old child.
