The reputed leader of the Spanish Town-based Klansman Gang, Tesha Miller, remains in police custody this afternoon.
However, he’s yet to be charged. He’s scheduled to be questioned by detectives at three today.
It was disclosed in the Kingston and St. Andrew Parish Court this morning that the Major Investigation Division and the Counter-Terrorism and Organized Crime Investigation Branch (CTOC) have an interest in speaking with Miller.
Miller’s attorney, Abel-Don Foote, spoke with members of the media this morning.
Miller was detained yesterday after paying the 100 dollar fine imposed for making a false declaration to immigration officials.
He was re-arrested under the anti-gang legislation.
However, Mr. Foote says when the investigating officer appeared in court today he told the judge he no longer had an interest in Miller in that regard.
Presiding Judge, Simone Wolfe-Reece says she’ll decide whether Mr. Miller to be charged or released when the matter is called up for mention tomorrow.
