Tesha Miller’s Sentencing Shows Justice System Is Functioning – Tufton


Cabinet Minister and West Central St Catherine Member of Parliament, Dr Christopher Tufton, says yesterday’s sentencing of Tesha Miller shows that the justice system is functioning.

Dr Tufton says crime’s the number one priority for the Holness administration.

The JLP MP says he has seen first-hand the burden that the scourge of crime places on Prime Minister Andrew Holness, as he seeks to find ways to remedy the country’s crime problem.

Yesterday Supreme Court Judge, Justice Georgiana Fraser, sentenced Miller to 38 years and 9 months in prison for being an accessory to murder before and after the fact.

He was found guilty in December last year.
